I usually respect formalities and bear in mind that all 7ths are important and something that cannot by chance slip my mind, but this time it really did. And as much as Boon teases me every month for forgetting (just to make himself sound better), he realised that I really did forget it this time round. Hope you are not too disappointed, B, you now have an entry dedicated just to you :) <3<3<3




Some picspam of us :) After colleen and my conversation about how amazing it is that couples still have SOOO much to talk about after years of knowing each other and being together. As I spend time with Boon, I realised there's just everything to talk about, and if there is even nothing to talk about, the silence is often enjoyed too. What I found very heartening was how he just told me that his sis has now learnt how to ride a bicycle and he was so sad that he wasnt the one who taught her yadayada... I guess we all just love to be the ones who hear  the things that no one else gets to hear. :)

On another note, the midterms came to rape me and left. I can only really aim for full marks during the finals. So many careless mistakes made and I felt like I am a pri school kid all over again. Must be the tuition kids rubbing their carelessness onto me :(

Wanted to blog in the afternoon but i had quite a row with B so i put off coming here and trying to sound happy. But all's good all's good sometimes the bitch in every girl just needs to be tamed. So when he was damn cool about me working up, i felt bad almost immediately and i texted him in a super humble manner so paiseh!! And he laughed at me cos i was behaving like a child who threw a tantrum but still wants to go out to play. Ha, the dynamics of a relationship.

Anyways those pictures were taken about a week ago where Mum and I did our yearly work clothes shopping and this time boon was invited to join us! Check out how much we spent! ;) G2000 might not be the best place to buy clothes but you have to admit that a yearly 50% voucher for members is really super damn worth it! Heh this explains why i've got so much work clothes... (do i miss teaching? ;) )

So the new week awaits and here i am to conquer you midterms (K) my ass. And not forgetting a presentation on Weds on general electric medical systems ugh!!

 

Had so much fun over the long weekend (even though i was really sad about not being able to tour with dad in cebu but thats not the point...) And in the blink of an eye, recess week is here! Omg! This sem just flew by me without me realising and now it would be midterms AGAIN. :( I hate midterms because they catch me unprepared and its in the middle of nowhere!!! I remember doing the worst in class for my OM midterms and i was so damn depressed about it i studied until i got myself a respectable grade in the finals. This time round I know I must conquer it!!!

We also celebrated Clarence's 20th at his friend's place at Botanical Gardens View. It's like the best place ever to live in. The view and air is sooooo good its almost like air conditioning! But anyhows it was good catching up with the good ol friends after such a long time. They were pretty damn emo with the sadness and love quotes which are too emo i shall not write them here. We all bet that they'll definitely go prey on young freshies in uni. Heh.

So I participated in an email lucky draw blast sent out to all BBA students, answering a question which the answer can be found in the email (as usua,l these gimmicks) and i actualy won a pair of tickets to the sneaks of this show! I then found out at the counter that only NUS and SIM students were invited, awesome stuff. We also actually bumped into B's first girlfriend there watching the same movie, how damn coincidental. It was really funny and awkward i couldnt stop laughing. :D

I liked how the movie flowed, depicting his days from knowing her and getting in love with her. And I think Summer (the lead actress) is really pretty. She has this whole brunette with bangs aura and i love it!!  All in all, its a good romantic comedy with a refreshing plot which didn't make Boon (who slept through Wall E) sleep after his night shift! Heartwarming and sweet, you can catch it with your other halves or friends! :D

Gonna ramble about the what nots in school. Time flies. 2 weeks later and its gonna be recess week and the midterms. I thought i just barely started school! And now i am stumbling through presentations, report submissions and tons of tutorials. :( We had a presentation on monday and my whole group turned up in yellow :) Such a sweet sight :)



Presentation went on pretty well even though we had the toughest tutorial, and tutor was very amused with our yellow turn out. Today I attended barclay cap's recruitment talk so it was formal +heels again. Very tired of this get up. Am going to wear shorts and slippers tmr to piak piak piak down the steps. Miss the freedom I get from wearing shorts. :(

Whats up next: One finance quiz and econs presentation next week, 3 midterms and 2 on a saturday, 3000word case report in 3 weeks.

These days, in a bid to inject some fun into uni life, we celebrate birthdays as much as possble :) Lucky boy was Nik who never fails to try to get the class together and integrate everyone into a happy family. Proud to say that after one year of being alum o we have grown to love and set aside differences, esp to work in new groups after being split into different tut groups...

I know an LJ is meant for happy things so here is a picture of me visiting the swollen lips Boon at his place last week. I saw him again today after tuition at 6pm (hardworking gf i am) and he seemed sooooooo much better. So glad we prayed together and power in numbers! God's presence and his healing took place! :) The funniest thing is we kept laughing when we were together and it was so painful for him to laugh his mouth was in a damn awkward and funny shape. Like kek sai. Hahahahhahahaha good night world!

Hi guys, I have not been consumed by the mighty uni monster and I am still alive. I have just been very very very caught up with school, and more school, not so much of studying though. The whole cycle starts again, forming new project groups (if you ever thought only the management uni has project work you are so wrong), adapting to new faces cos I am in totally different classes from my usual proj group friends, and more new faces that I have seen in D&D and inevitably cannot avoid in school. Much of it is very social based I guess, the academic things will start to roll in this week. Just two days later I am going to have my first project meeting. Not to forget 6 presentations and a written report every single week for 2 modules. Taking 5 modules this sem and the one I am loving most is my elective: the social work mod which I am so damn looking forward to :) Arts canteen and more laksa YTF!

Anyhows, I have tons of pictures from the night in my comp but I hesitate to put them up on facebook so much. I looked like damn hideous, wanted to turn up as QE cos all of them rented costumes from masquerade and I didnt have time to go down, I went to mom's wardrobe to get something movie-ish. Then I found the QE looking dress, and Steph the superwoman did my hair for me which totally suits the theme but made me look 10years older. So much for a costume party. :( Haha, and I just saw some china traditional women having this hairstyle on the channel U's advertisements. *palms on forehead*

Have been so helpless the past few days cos B has been so down with fever and sorethroat and the what nots and I havent had time to go down from school. Not an excuse at all cos he didnt want me to go down too (worried that he would end up taking care of me and not what it was supp to be) Gonna see him tmr!!! Or at least i hope!!!

Off to try blogger to update the GB blog! But it didnt seem to work just now.... :(

Our GB and BB combined officers' retreat was such a blast! I had so much fun at Cookyn with Mervyn, with all the fellowship and jokes. Such a good time to know other BB teachers who are new too :) A cooking class is something really new and innovative and I really liked it alot! We even had an unspoken rule of no talking about work while having our retreat... But those BB people just love to talk about their boys -__-

Just that day we felt like going cheapo shopping to Bugis Street after resetting my password at super far NUS, just so I could bid. :( It was nice taking Boon on a bus trip around school and telling him where the different faculties are... How I get to school... What buses I take and all. Fun! :) Anyways my hair in that picture was a disaster. It was because of how frizzy my hair was that I went to soften it. And apparently EVERYONE said i looked the same. Boring!



And we found this really awesome QQ Noodle House at Bugis, beside Chapter 2. And we went in cos we were so tired to walk to the other side of bugis for the good food, so we settled for somewhere with lots of newspaper cuttings and tv reccomendations. It really lived up to its name!! Everyone must try it!! The wanton soup is to die for! Boon and I are dying to go back to try the other dishes on the menu! Excited!

Happy National Day friends! Forgot to buy the straits times yesterday to catch BC in the papers!!! :(
